NPR : Army Specialist Was First Md. Woman Killed in IraqThese reports on the rememberance of soldiers killed in Iraq usually get to me, but this one hit especially hard. It just blows my mind that this young woman can be home celebrating with here family in Baltimore one week and dead in Iraq the next. What are we doing letting all these young people die for? It makes me feel like I could be doing something more to register my dis-approval of this war.
